Kim is a passionate uniform designer and a founder of Alinta and KP Design. For over 3 decades has partnered with schools across Australia and New Zealand to create uniforms that thoughtfully combine image, comfort, and contemporary style with durability and tailored practicality.
Her work celebrates identity and fosters pride, whether reimagining tradition or crafting something new, Kim is committed to helping schools dress with confidence and purpose.
Leading a collaborative team and working closely with school communities, Kim ensures every design reflects values, fosters belonging, and contributes to a lasting visual legacy.
Karen Christensen
Product Development Manager
Karen is a highly experienced Product Development Manager with over 25 years experience across fashion brands, technical apparel and school uniforms. Her career spans brand development, product design and global manufacturing for leading fashion and outdoor adventure brands in New Zealand, shaping collections from concept through to production.
With a background in pattern making and technical design, Karen brings a hands-on, detail-driven approach to silhouette, fit, and fabrication. Currently leading the Product Development team at Alinta Apparel, Karen oversees the creative direction of new ranges, combining trend analysis, fabric innovation, and refined styling to deliver modern, functional product.

Judie Willoughby has been a driving force behind Alinta’s growth and success for nearly two decades. Joining the company in its earliest days, Judie has witnessed and contributed to its transformation from a small startup into the enterprise it is today.
As Head of the Production Department, Judie brings many years of hands-on clothing industry experience and strategic leadership to the role. Her deep industry knowledge, commitment to quality, and the ability to lead the production team as a high-performing unit have made her a key figure in the companys evolution.
